To research and develop the business case for a demonstration event and exhibition for the association and wider industry.
Hartley Consulting and Events was initially retained in late 2020 to deliver a strategic evaluation with ADA members to understand the demand for a new live event. Working with a specialist research agency Zing Insights on a two-phase approach began with a quantitative online survey. The survey was designed in collaboration with the ADA team and emailed to a database of members provided by ADA. In addition, in depth qualitative research interviews was conducted by Hartley Consulting and Events with key stakeholders, members and other influencers.
Following the positive response and feedback to the research, Hartley Consulting & Events was then retained to develop “Phase 2” the business case and launch strategy. This included site inspection, preparation of the event budget, sales and marketing strategy and activation as well as with the support of Karen Edwards of Bright Events, operational management plans.
