At Hartley Consulting & Events, Chris Hartley brings his passion for the industry, proven track record, and an extensive network of Contractors and partners. With over 30 years of experience in all aspects of the events industry – event organising, major venue management, and supplier services – Chris offers a powerful combination of expertise.
This unique background enables Chris to understand the inner workings of businesses across these areas, speaking their language and knowing their wants and needs. While predominantly focused on the private sector, Hartley Consulting & Events also collaborates with clients in the public sector, including Trade Associates, Colleges, Tourism Boards and Local Authorities. Chris is a board member for both Visit Coventry & Visit Shropshire, this position allows Chris’s clients to benefit from connections, potential partners, investors, and other valuable contacts.
Chris’s consultancy projects range from revitalising venue sales and marketing strategies to event launches, as well as assisting businesses in securing grant and funding support. These settings may differ from his private sector experience, however, the core principles remain the same. Hartley Consulting & Events remains firmly rooted in the events, tourism, leisure, and hospitality industry is where Chris’s expertise truly shines.
